Windows Setup

• Debloat.
• Delete OneDrive.
• Don’t show recently used files, frequently used folders or files from office.com in File Explorer and clear its history.
• Install the latest Visual Studio with “C++ Desktop Develeopment”.
• Enable Windows Developer Mode (for symlinks).
• Install the following applications using winget:
  • Microsoft.VisualStudioCode
  • Microsoft.WindowsTerminal
  • LLVM.LLVM
  • Oven-sh.Bun
  • Git.Git
  • GitHub.cli
  • Docker.DockerDesktop
  • Oracle.VirtualBox
• I also use the following winget apps, although they may prove less useful to you.
  • Google.Chrome
  • Notion.Notion
  • Discord.Discord
  • WhatsApp
• I also install the following apps from their installer.
  • Android Studio
  • Rye
• Add LLVM to the PATH (C:\Program Files\LLVM\bin).
• Set up Ubuntu on WSL.
